Fashion Handbags - How to Choose the Right Fashion Handbags For You

In a world that is motivated by material objects and possessions, there is only one possession that a woman loves more than a diamond ring. She loves to own fashion handbags. Of course, women also love to purchase beautiful dresses and shoes. However, a handbag makes a statement like no other article of clothing can make. Here are a suggestions on how to choose the right fashion handbag for you.
In today's busy world, women's handbags are the ultimate fashion statement. They are often used to express their individual styles, status, mood, and of course their individuality that makes them stand apart from all other women. In fact, the more expensive or well known it is, the better the woman feels about themselves as she walks down the street knowing that all of the others are looking.
A very important thing to consider is choosing the designer brand, style, and color of the handbag you want to own. Depending upon your choice, it will affect in a positive or negative way your choice of style and fashion especially in regard to the perceptions of others.
Let's say that you have a number of outfits that you absolutely adore. You want to emphasize how wonderful they are but you can only do so if you choose the right purse that fits your style. What many people do is try on a variety of outfits you for going out into public and seeing which one best fits their particular color and style of the day.
It is all about how you look. And the way that you present yourself also has to do with knowing that you have chosen the right attire to wear. If you feel confident, your personality will exude confidence as you speak to others and as you walk down the street.
Here are a few tips that can help you choose the best handbag for you:
When choosing the best one, you want to go to a mall and look at what everyone else is wearing. You want to look in catalogs and surf on the web to see what the latest styles really are. Then, once you have done your research, you need to look at your own wardrobe and see what you have that matches the fashion of the day.
Then, you need to take note of the purses that other people are carrying around and see how they match her outfits. Are they huge? Are they small and dainty? These are all qualities that you should consider and then put into the next when choosing the outfit that you will wear each day.
So whether you are using a handbag by Luis Vuitton, Chanel, or Coach, regardless of the name brand you have chosen, it has to match your mood and the situation you are in. If you are going to the mall, dressed for that. If you are going to work, obviously the outfit has to change.
Always remember to never carry your handbag under your arm. The reason is very simple. If they cannot see your purse, they will be looking at other areas of your body that will make you feel uncomfortable. By simply placing your fingertips on the top of the bag with the signature emblem standing out for all to see, you will direct attention to it and not yourself without having to do a thing.
Finally, try to plan your outfits in advance. This will give you time to choose the right handbag to wear for each occasion. Although this is simply an object that carries your personal possessions and perhaps even your cell phone, it can literally make or break the image you are trying to project out to everyone else if you do not make the right choice for you. Fashion Jewelry Settings and Styles

Fashion Jewelry comes in different settings to complement many styles. Each setting style serves as a mantle for the stone. The setting is very important to the look and functionality. For instance, large solitaire stones are typically set in a prong setting to show them off as opposed to a channel setting which can showcase many smaller stones for more practical use. Setting combinations make for interesting designs as well.

Setting Types
Prong:A single stone set between four metal prongs. This setting is ideal for showcasing a solitaire stone.
Bezel: A stone is encased by a metal ring. This sets the stone low and serves as a protective case.
Channel: A number of small gem stones are set in a small channel. This is popular with engagement rings.
Pave': Clusters of small stone are set very close to each other on the surface of the ring.
Chevron: Stones are set in V-shaped prongs. Marquise cut stone are typically set in this type.

Clasp Types
Lobster Claw: Looks like its name. This clasp is spring loaded and hooks to the other end of a bracelet or necklace to secure the piece.
Toggle Clasp: A bar that secures piece when inserted through a circular or tube design.
Spring Ring: Spring loaded with circular design. Similar to the lobster clasp.
Box Clasp: Secure the piece by locking when the wedge piece is inserted into the box piece. The clasp unlocks when the wedge piece is pushed down. This piece is spring loaded.

Chain Types
Twisted Chain: Spiraling chain with interlocking circle made in silver, gold, or rhodium.
Cable Link: Round links interconnected. This is the most common link. Most pendants come with this chain.
Mesh Link: Intertwined wires of metal to give a weaved look.
Bead Chain: Two chains woven together to resemble a rope.
Snake Chain: Cylindrical chain. Solid, smooth look but very flexible.
Herringbone Chain: Short and flat links set parallel to each other and pieced together tightly.

The Mystery of a Woman's Fashion Purchase Decision

Men are in abject terror of trying to delve into the unknown territory of a woman's mind when it comes to deciding to purchase a fashion item, be it a dress, handbag or even a pair of cowboy boots! What is the logic that prompts a woman to buy a particular fashion item, is it price, is it looks, or is it something right out of left field?
The year was 1981 - my 10 year old daughter & I lived with my parents and youngest brother. During the Christmas holidays, I came home from work, said hello to my parents, when my father bellowed at me: "You had better teach your daughter the value of a dollar". Stunned by this sudden attack, I meekly asked "Why?" My daughter had wanted a pair of cowboy boots (they were all the rage that year) and I had quite blatantly refused to buy them for either Christmas or otherwise. As my brother & I really didn't get along, he, I am sure for spite, gave her $50 so she could buy a pair.
My parents took my daughter to buy these cowboy boots at the nearest mall. When they entered the Zellers (Canada's answer to Wal-Mart), there were a pair of boots for about $30.00. No, she didn't want those boots; she wanted a very specific pair of boots that cost the total $50.00. She and her grandfather apparently had a heated discussion on what pair to buy. She ended up buying the pair she wanted which my father thought was ridiculous. As far as he was concerned, the two pair of boots were similar and he saw no reason why she couldn't buy the cheaper pair and have $20.00 in her pocket. As far as she was concerned, she wanted the $50 pair and that was that.
She hasn't changed much since that time. There are times she will choose a more inexpensive version of an item, but the majority of times; she will choose exactly what she wants regardless of the cost. There are probably numerous articles on the psychology of a woman's purchasing decision, but I couldn't find any, so I shan't bore you with details, other than to say, in my opinion, there is simply no mystery of why women decides to buy any article of fashion especially a handbag. There are of course many variables that do enter that decision and here are just some that enter my decision to purchase:
1. My Mood, there are times when I decide that I want to go shopping, it is then I can never find what I want, or nothing appeals to me. It is when my goal is not shopping that I find that special piece of fashion that shouts, BUY ME NOW!
2. The available coins in the wallet - this is a dangerous variable because sometimes the desire to want that handbag is greater than the available budget to purchase. However, my desire not to extend myself to the point of bankruptcy is usually much stronger than the desire.
3. The colour and/or design - While most fashion designs are appealing, if it isn't the right colour, there would be no way in God's Green Earth would I purchase the item. For example, brown or orange are not shades in my colour palette. Even when I had my colours "done" in the 80's craze, they are not included (Thank god)!
4. Storage - for many years I was a pack rat, however my daughter is not. She has brought me to the light, so I do not purchase something if I have limited storage. I can only store so many handbags.
5. Sheer Laziness - mainly when it comes to handbags & shoes. I am a gal that really can't be bothered to change my handbag on a frequent basis (monthly changes seem far too frequent for me). As to shoes, well, I have problem feet which restrict the number of shoes that I can purchase as well as the cost.
It only takes nano seconds to have all the variables run through my head when deciding to purchase. However, never let it be said, that I do throw caution to the wind and say, YES, YES, YES I want it. So Men, all I can say, is that whatever motivation a woman has to buy that fashion item, you might as well grin and bear it, then go buy that tool or golf club that you want! Isn't it the same thing?
